Immigration lawyer for Australia, New Zealand, Portugal and Brazil

Visa applications, appeals and strategy from a lawyer admitted in all four countries — so a move that starts in one and ends in another is handled by one accountable adviser.

Immigration law is where Zeolla Law began and where most of our work still sits. We advise individuals, families and employers on the full range of visas in Australia and New Zealand, on residence permits and national visas in Portugal, and on visas and residency in Brazil — and, unusually, we can do so from inside each system rather than through a referral.

The advice starts with the outcome you need (to work, to stay, to bring family, to invest, to become a citizen) and works backwards to the visa that gets there with the least risk. Where a refusal or cancellation has already happened, see our review and crimmigration pages.

  • Business, investor and entrepreneur visas, including the National Innovation Visa
  • New Zealand work, residence and accredited-employer visas
  • Portugal national visas (D7, D8 digital nomad, D2 entrepreneur) and residence permits

How it works

Consultation and eligibility assessment

We map the visas you qualify for, the timing and the evidence each one needs, and send a written fee proposal.

Preparation and lodgement

We prepare the application and submissions, check every document against the criteria, and lodge it.

Follow-through

We answer requests from the department, track deadlines and conditions, and plan the next step — residence, citizenship or family.

Questions

Can you act for me if I am outside Australia?

Yes. Most applications are lodged online, and we hold consultations by video in Australian, European and Brazilian hours.

Do you handle New Zealand visas as well as Australian ones?

Yes. Daniel Zeolla is admitted in New Zealand and advises on work, residence and accredited-employer visas there.

My visa was refused — is it too late?

Often not, but the deadlines are short. Contact us the day you receive the decision; review rights can be lost within weeks.
